Garlic Pickled Eggs
These tasty garlic pickled eggs are great to keep around as a snack. For red eggs, substitute beet juice for water.
Chef John's Lemon Bars
These shortbread crust lemon bars are one of my favorite cookies of all time — although technically, they're closer to a pie than a cookie. Nothing prepares you for that intense, awesome sweet and tart lemon-flavored custard, perfectly contrasted against crisp, sweet, buttery shortbread cookie.
Cajun Pastalaya
This is my Cajun pastalaya recipe that I put together after trying 3 or 4 different local Southern Louisiana recipes. Hope y'all enjoy! Serve with crusty bread.
