Fleischsalat, or German meat salad, features matchstick-cut bologna and chopped crisp dill pickles in creamy mayonnaise. It's perfect to serve as a side, as a sandwich filling, or on its own with crackers.

- 1.5 teaspoons sugar
- 0.5 teaspoons kosher salt
- 0.25 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 12 ounces bologna
- 1.5 cups chopped dill pickles
