These grilled peaches are sweetened up with a little honey and a dash of cinnamon before being packaged into foil and cooked on the grill. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an easy dessert. As my husband says, these taste like a peach cobbler without the crust!
Ingredients
- 1 package frozen peach slices , 16 ounce
- 0.5 cups honey
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
Instructions
-
1
Gather all ingredients. Preheat a grill for medium heat.
-
2
Place peaches onto a large piece of aluminum foil. Use two if necessary to hold in all of the peaches without spillage. Drizzle the honey over the peaches, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
-
3
Close up the foil, sealing tightly. Place the foil packet onto the preheated grill, and cook for 10 minutes, turning once halfway through.
-
4
Carefully open the packet, and serve.

Musaka
I learned this musaka from my Bulgarian mother-in-law though it's probably Turkish in origin. The recipe calls for chubritsa, a Bulgarian herb that can be difficult to find in the States, so basil can be used in its place.
Slow Cooker Hoppin' John
Using a slow cooker makes easy work of this classic Hoppin' John for a delicious Southern dish. Serve over cooked white rice.
The Best Caramel Apples
This amazing caramel apple recipe was given to me by a close friend when I was searching for a recipe to make homemade caramel apples for the very first time. My family and friends loved these delicious treats! Sprinkle with nuts, crushed cookies, or whatever you desire while the caramel is still warm, but work quickly as the caramel sets very fast.
