Chinese Pork Chops
This easy pork chop recipe is always a hit at family gatherings. A mixture of soy, ginger, brown sugar, and garlic adds plenty of sweet umami flavor since it's used as both a marinade and a basting sauce.
German Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies
A chewy chocolate cookie topped with a German chocolate icing. Very good, and they freeze wonderfully if you have any left to freeze. Do not substitute canned frosting or you will be disappointed.
Steak au Poivre
While this may take a while to cook, it is by far my favorite dish. I have been very frustrated with ordering steak au poivre when dining out only to find that what I made at home with a delicious pan sauce was much better. Hope you enjoy it!
