These jalapeño popper pigs in a blanket are a first—I've seen jalapeño poppers and pigs in a blanket served many ways, but this combo together may be my favorite way to do both.
Ingredients
- 8 jalapeño peppers
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1.25 cups Cheddar cheese
- 16 Lils Smokies
- 2 crescents roll dough , 8 ounce
Instructions
-
1
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment. Rinse jalapeños to remove any remaining seeds and pat dry.
-
2
Stir cream cheese and Cheddar cheese together in a bowl until well combined. Divide cheese mixture among jalapeño halves and top each with a sausage.
-
3
Separate crescent dough into 16 triangles. Roll each filled pepper in crescent dough and place on the prepared baking sheets.
-
4
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 13 to 15 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Italian Cream Cheese and Ricotta Cheesecake
This ricotta cheesecake is my grandmother's recipe passed down to my entire family. I can't believe I'm sharing it, but everyone needs to know how to make an authentic Italian cheesecake. Our family loves it because it is creamy and not thick. It's the best!
