These jalapeño popper pigs in a blanket are a first—I've seen jalapeño poppers and pigs in a blanket served many ways, but this combo together may be my favorite way to do both.
Ingredients
- 8 jalapeño peppers
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1.25 cups Cheddar cheese
- 16 Lils Smokies
- 2 crescents roll dough , 8 ounce
Instructions
-
1
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment. Rinse jalapeños to remove any remaining seeds and pat dry.
-
2
Stir cream cheese and Cheddar cheese together in a bowl until well combined. Divide cheese mixture among jalapeño halves and top each with a sausage.
-
3
Separate crescent dough into 16 triangles. Roll each filled pepper in crescent dough and place on the prepared baking sheets.
-
4
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 13 to 15 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Walnut Cups
Everyone in my family loves this cookie. They're like little pecan pies and you can make them with pecans instead of walnuts if you choose. You will need a mini muffin pan for this recipe.
