When moving and trying to use up leftover items in the refrigerator, I came up with this maple shortbread cookie recipe. Tasty!
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter , softened
- 0.5 cups maple syrup
- 2 cups flour
- 0.25 teaspoons salt
Instructions
-
1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
-
2
Beat butter and maple syrup together with an electric mixer in a large bowl until smooth. Stir flour and salt together in a separate bowl; gradually mix flour mixture into butter mixture until dough is just incorporated. Form dough into walnut-sized balls; flatten gently and arrange onto a baking sheet.
-
3
Bake in the preheated oven until edges are lightly browned, 10 to 12 minutes.

Cindy's Breakfast Casserole
The best breakfast casserole I've ever made. I combined a few different recipes, and this is my picky hubby's most favorite!
Air Fryer Hamburgers
These air fryer hamburgers are perfect for when it's too cold to grill and you're craving a juicy burger! The butter and bouillon mixture gives these air fryer hamburger patties a dark grilled color and deep beefy flavor. Add your favorite seasonings, if desired, but these are delicious as is! If you'd like to add cheese, turn off the air fryer once the patties are done and let the residual heat melt the cheese. Make sure you use cold meat, straight from the fridge, for best results.
Amateur's Light Breeze Chicken Chili
The cumin's the king here. I used to make this stuff during college because there is enough of it to last me a long time. This recipe is VERY hot.
