These million dollar deviled eggs have a secret ingredient. Butter lends a velvety texture, transforming a simple, classic deviled egg into something a bit more special.
Ingredients
- 12 large hard-boiled eggs
- 0.25 cups mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
- 2 teaspoons pickle juice
- 0.5 teaspoons sriracha
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons bacon
Instructions
-
1
Slice eggs in half lengthwise. Remove egg yolks, and place in a bowl.
-
2
Add mayonnaise, butter, mustard, pickle juice, Sriracha, salt, and pepper to the yolks. Mash with a fork or use a small food processor until filling is very smooth and creamy.
-
3
Evenly scoop or pipe egg yolk mixture into each egg white. Top with bacon crumbles. Move to the refrigerator to chill or serve immediately.

Chef John's Chocolate Pecan Pie
A 5-star pecan pie recipe can't get much better, but anything will always benefit from a little added chocolate! This easy and delicious recipe is based on Elaine Helms' popularPecan Pie V, but I've added a touch of chocolate which puts this into a whole other league of dessert awesomeness!
Loaf Pan Frittata
This loaf pan frittata is a great alternative method for making frittata, plus it's easier. Use any type of greens you like, bell peppers, and potatoes, or whatever vegetables you have on hand. My favorite way to serve it is on plain toast with a garlic aioli or lemon mayonnaise, and a small green salad on the side.
