This is an easy mulled wine, or vin chaud, recipe that fills the house with an amazing aroma.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle red wine , 750 milliliter
- 2 cups apple juice
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 cinnamons sticks
- 10 podss cardamom pods
- 8 whole cloves
- 0.5 teaspoons anise seed

Stir red wine, apple juice, honey, cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, cloves, and anise together in a saucepan over medium-low heat.

Simmer until flavors blend, at least 10 minutes.
