These tasty ham croquettes are made with diced ham, covered in bread crumbs, and baked. I don't know how this recipe came to be, but we know my great-grandmother made them like this. After shaping them, you can put cheese or anything you want into the middle for a filling.
Ingredients
- 0.5 pounds diced ham
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs , divided
Instructions
-
1
Gather the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
-
2
Mix ham, egg, mayonnaise, and half of the bread crumbs together in a bowl; shape into 6 balls. Spread remaining bread crumbs onto a plate; roll balls in crumbs to coat; arrange in a baking dish.
-
3
Bake croquettes in the preheated oven until golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes.

Air fryers do a terrific job with meat, and you don't have to turn on your oven. Enjoy these stuffed chicken breasts alongside a simple green salad and some crusty bread, or cut them into 1/2-inch slices and serve them as a hearty appetizer.

Easy Slow Cooker Ham
This recipe has become, hands-down, my favorite ham! This has replaced our Christmas Ham and makes the entire house smell amazing! There is nothing like coming home with this ham cooking! Experiment with the amounts of seasonings to your liking. I prefer more nutmeg but some prefer less nutmeg and more maple syrup!
