This is an easy-to-make honey and orange cake that tastes great. It's flavored with orange juice and zest. Frost with your favorite frosting.
Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup honey
- 0.5 cups vegetable oil
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons grated orange zest or more to taste
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 0.5 teaspoons baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.

Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon together; set aside.

Combine sugar, honey, oil, eggs and orange zest in a large bowl. Beat in flour mixture alternately with the orange juice, mixing just until incorporated. Pour cake batter into prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean, 40 to 50 minutes. Allow to cool.
