This recipe for Parmesan chicken leg drumsticks is my favorite. Serve with a nice fresh salad and a vegetable side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 chickens drumsticks
Instructions
-
1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking dish with foil.
-
2
Whisk egg in a shallow bowl. Mix Parmesan, pepper, and salt together in another shallow bowl. Dip each chicken drumstick in egg; lift up so excess egg drips back into the bowl. Roll in Parmesan mixture until well coated. Place into the prepared baking pan.

Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown on the outside, no longer pink at the bone, and the juices run clear, about 45 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

Spritz Cookies II
This is the recipe we have always used at Christmas.
Simple Garlic and Basil Pesto
This recipe is something that you can make quickly and easily using a blender. Everything you need is easy to find in your local supermarket. This paste is great for putting on or in meat and pastas, or with cottage cheese in stuffed pasta shells. Once I start making this, the orders from friends and family keep coming in. For best taste, pesto should be heated up in the meal it's being prepared with.
Chocolate-Covered Bacon Strips
Chocolate-covered bacon like you get at the fair! The sweetness of chocolate and the saltiness of the bacon is the perfect marriage. What could be better? Additional toppings like candy sprinkles, chopped pecans, or dried apple chips, of course!
