This blueberry peach cobbler is the easiest dessert I know, and everybody loves it. I got the idea from my mom, who got it from my grandma. The thing I changed is I don't use a cake mix. I use items from my pantry, and I add blueberries.
Ingredients
- 4 cups canned sliced peaches with juice
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 0.75 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cups white sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 0.5 cups butter
Instructions
-
1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch square glass baking dish.
-
2
Pour peaches with juice into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle blueberries on top.
-
3
Whisk together flour, sugar, and baking powder in a large bowl until thoroughly combined. Cut in butter with 2 knives or a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; sprinkle over blueberries and peaches.
-
4
Bake in the preheated oven until fruit is bubbling and topping is golden brown, 45 minutes to 1 hour. Allow to cool; filling will thicken as it cools.

Betty's Famous Cinnamon Rolls
Try this recipe for cinnamon rolls that taste like Betty Crocker's. They're so good, you won't be able to stop eating them. A little hard work but totally worth it in the end. Eat them warm, right out of the oven, or top refrigerated rolls with a pat of butter and reheat in the microwave for 20 seconds.
Cast Iron Skillet Buttermilk Cornbread
This cast iron skillet buttermilk cornbread recipe is for those people who do not like sweet cornbread. For me, this is my comfort food and what I grew up on.
Rhubarb Pineapple Chutney
This is a great way to use rhubarb and goes really well with pork. Also yummy on crostini with goat cheese; simply brush sliced baguette with olive oil and bake at 400 degrees F until golden brown, spread with goat cheese, and top with the chutney. Delicious! Another great use for the rhubarb chutney is as a topping for pork chops. Season chops (or pork tenderloin) with a mixture of even parts cumin, coriander, garlic powder, and salt, plus a sprinkle of cayenne; grill, then serve with the chutney. It gets raves every time!
