This easy pineapple burger recipe was one of my grandmother's favorites that we would make when she visited. Seasoned hamburger and a slice of pineapple are slapped together and wrapped in bacon. It's that easy — and it adds a wonderful flavor to a regular burger!
Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 0.5 cups prepared barbecue sauce
- 1 can sliced pineapple , 8 ounce
- 8 slices bacon
Instructions
-
1
Prepare the grill for indirect cooking.
-
2
In a large bowl, mix together ground beef and barbecue sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
-
3
Shape mixture into 4 large patties. Place a slice of pineapple on top of each. Crisscross 2 bacon strips around each burger, and secure with toothpicks.
-
4
Brush oil on the grate. Place burgers on the grill over medium-low heat. Cook, covered, until burger is cooked through. Turn often to avoid burning bacon.

Banana Split Ice Cream Pie
Who doesn't love a good old-fashion Banana Split? How about a pie that combines all the ingredients of this old-fashion favorite! Almonds may be used in place of walnuts. You can also use a pre-made chocolate cookie crumb crust instead of making your own.
