- 3 tablespoons soy sauce

- 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
- 1.5 tablespoons minced garlic
- 0.5 heads red cabbage , finely shredded
- 2 Braeburns or Fuji apples - peeled , cored, and finely diced
- 0.25 cups finely minced white onion
