This red cabbage slaw is a nice, light, creamy side dish to bring on a picnic or serve with a comforting fall dish like chili or pulled pork sandwiches. Adds beautiful color to your plate.

Ingredients

  • 1 small head red cabbage , thinly sliced and chopped
  • 0.5 cups grated carrot
  • 0.5 cups mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cups dried cranberries
  • 0.25 cups chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon milk , or more as needed
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar , or more to taste
