This sausage breakfast idea is a great casserole my grandmother and mother always make!
Ingredients
- cooking spray
- 1.5 pounds ground pork sausage
- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough , 8 ounce
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 4 large eggs , beaten
- 0.75 cups milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
-
1
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
-
2
Heat a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir sausage in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and set aside.
-
3
Lay crescent rolls flat on the bottom of the prepared dish. Combine cooked sausage, cheese, beaten eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a large bowl; pour over crescent rolls.
-
4
Bake in the preheated oven until bubbly and rolls are cooked through, about 15 minutes.

This chicken Alfredo lasagna with ricotta and spinach is so good that my family requests it at least once a week. Serve with diced tomato as a garnish.
Quick Eggplant Parmesan
This quick eggplant recipe goes well with steamed green beans and French or Italian bread. Although it calls for seasoned bread crumbs, you can use regular ones. Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes according to your taste.

Fragrant and colorful fresh egg pasta infused with saffron. Roll out in thin sheets with or without a pasta machine, then bake directly in a lasagna with bolognese or bechamel sauce, or make tagliatelle and serve with your favorite sauce.
