These baked beans with bacon are my favorite side dish. Mustard, brown sugar, and ketchup add a delicious flavor to the beans and they're so much quicker to make on the stovetop than bake.

Irish Soda Bread in a Skillet
A basic version of Irish soda bread that is baked in a cast iron skillet. Try substituting the liquid with buttermilk or 1/2 cup cream plus 1/2 cup sour cream left to sit overnight. Try adding a tablespoon or so of sugar if you like your soda bread slightly sweet. Experiment until you get the flavor you remember.
Amish Friendship Chocolate Bread
This is a great variation to the traditional Amish Friendship Bread. My family says it's like eating chocolate cake. This bread freezes well and makes a great gift.
