These brownies are a great way to use up some of that leftover Halloween candy! These are made with Snickers bars, but you can substitute Milky Way candy bars for a different variation.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups white sugar
- 0.75 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
- 0.5 teaspoons salt
- 0.25 teaspoons baking powder
- 0.75 cups butter , melted
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups chocolate-coated caramel-peanut nougat candy , such as Snickers®
Instructions
-
1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
-
2
Mix sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder together in a mixing bowl.
-
3
Mix butter, eggs, and vanilla extract together in a separate bowl; add butter mixture to the bowl with the flour mixture and stir batter until well mixed.
-
4
Pour 1/2 the batter into the prepared baking pan. Top with 1/2 the candy bar pieces. Spread remaining batter on top, covering candy completely.
-
5
Bake in the preheated oven until edges are brown and center is set, about 30 minutes.
-
6
Remove brownies from the oven and spread remaining candy bar pieces on top, lightly pressing them in while the brownies are still hot. Let brownies cool completely before serving, about 30 minutes.

Grinder Bean Salad
This grinder bean salad is sort of a deconstructed version of an Italian grinder, minus the roll. It combines all the classic flavors of a grinder, and holds up well in the fridge.
Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies
These sugar cookies with cream cheese are soft, chewy, and flavorful. It is very important to chill the dough, as it is too sticky to roll unless well chilled.
Classic Pub Style Nachos
I got this recipe from summer camp, and when I made them at home, my whole family was impressed. Layers of tortilla chips and salsa with the works on the side - tastes just like the nachos they serve at restaurants. Perfect for a party!
