Bologna Salad Sandwich Spread
My friend's mom made this bologna salad spread for our Iowa Teen Club luncheon back in the 1950s. I used to make it for my kids when they were growing up, and they still love it! Sweet relish and eggs round out the flavor of bologna in this simple but delicious spread. Serve it on cocktail toast, or use it in sandwiches. The amount of egg, salad dressing, and relish can be adjusted to taste.
Happy Birthday Cake
Say happy birthday with this cake! It's one of my mother's cake recipes for birthdays. I love it — it tastes great.
Chimichurri Shrimp
For this chimichurri shrimp, I made the chimichurri sauce from scratch for the first time, and boy am I glad I did. I used fresh oregano instead of dried, and I love how it turned out and think you will too. This zesty herb-based sauce is packed with flavor. Serve with crusty bread to soak up the delicious blend of herbs and olive oil.
