These are a huge hit with kids!
Ingredients
- 1 package chocolate cake mix , 18.25 ounce
- 1 pound black shoestring licorice
- 1 can white frosting , 16 ounce
- 48 pieces candy corn
- 48 cinnamons red hot candies
- 0.25 cups orange decorator sugar
Instructions
-
1
Prepare cupcakes according to package directions. Let cool completely.
-
2
Cut licorice into 3 inch sections. Working with one or two cupcakes at a time, so the frosting doesn't set before decorating, frost the cupcakes with the white frosting. Insert licorice pieces into the outer edges of the cupcakes to make the legs of the spider, 3 legs on each side (4 takes up too much space). Place two pieces of candy corn on the front of the cupcake for fangs and use two red hots as eyes. Sprinkle with decorator sugar. Repeat with remaining cupcakes.

Taco Soup II
This is a really good and easy recipe. Top with shredded cheese, and serve with chips.
Kid-Pleasing Sloppy Joes
This is one of my kids' favorite recipes! I could make this five times in a row and they'd never get tired of it. It's easy to make and a real quick, hot meal for those busy nights. I will add cheese on top of these kid-friendly Sloppy Joes or warm the rolls in the oven. I occasionally add mild banana peppers on top for my husband since he is a fan of spicy things.
Chopped Liver the Real Mccoy
No recipe site is complete without a real recipe for real chopped liver. This makes for a great appetizer or spread for a pastrami and corned beef sandwich.
