This cabbage stir fry is very simple to make. I like to keep the ingredients to a minimum and season with just soy sauce, garlic, and Chinese rice wine to let the natural sweetness of the cabbage shine.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic , minced
- 1 pound shredded cabbage
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Chinese cooking wine , Shaoxing wine
Instructions
-
1
Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat. Stir in garlic and cook until it begins to brown, 3 to 5 seconds.
-
2
Stir in cabbage until coated in oil; cover the wok and cook for 1 minute.
-
3
Pour in soy sauce; cook and stir for another minute. Increase heat to high and stir in Chinese cooking wine. Cook and stir until cabbage is tender, about 2 minutes more.

Serve hot and enjoy!

Reindeer Poop
A friend gave me this easy candy recipe, and now I make it every Christmas. The mixtures of different chocolates make for a great milk chocolate flavor. The best part is it's made in the slow cooker. Just put in your ingredients and let your cooker do the hard work. These little candies make a great gift-giving idea.
