A co-worker assembled this delicious strawberry shortcake with frozen strawberries for a birthday party. She said she couldn't say she made it because all she did was cut the strawberries and add sugar. Once it's done, you can have this yummy cake in 30 seconds!
Ingredients
- 1 package frozen strawberries , 16 ounce
- 0.33 cups white sugar
- 1 angel food cake , 9 inch
- 1 container frozen whipped topping , 8 ounce
Instructions

Mix strawberries and sugar together in a bowl until evenly coated. Refrigerate until strawberries are thawed, 8 hours to overnight.

Place a slice of angel food cake on each plate; top with whipped topping and sweetened strawberries.
