My husband prepares these burgers throughout the grilling season--they are incredibly juicy and flavorful. Great served with corn on the cob.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 0.5 cups beer
- 0.25 cups Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoons onion salt
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
-
1
Shape the ground beef into three patties. Place the patties in a shallow dish.
-
2
Combine the beer, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion salt, and pepper. Pour the marinade over the burgers. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Flip the burgers over and marinate for an additional 15 minutes.
-
3
Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil the grate.
-
4
Place the patties on the hot grill and cook for 2 minutes before flipping them over. Cook the burgers to the desired degree of doneness, about 5 minutes per side for well done. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).

Simple Croque Madame
This recipe is a favorite in my family! I take a French class and I bring these little sandwiches to the French meeting. This typical French delectable is always on the menu in little French cafes.
Spicy Chicken Burger with Beer Cheese Sauce
The chicken for this spicy chicken burger with beer cheese sauce is marinated in beer and spices for 4 hours, then grilled. There's more beer in the quick stovetop cheese sauce that is poured over the top. Don't forget to grill the buns and add your favorite chicken burger toppings!
10-Minute Mushroom Carbonara
This mushroom carbonara recipe is a quick and easy upgrade to a weeknight spaghetti dinner. Once your water is boiling, this dish can be on your plate in just 10 minutes. I tend to make this low-sodium, but you may want to add salt to the pasta water and to the mushrooms while they are cooking.
