These turkey poppers are a constant request from my friends for dinner get-togethers. They are simple to make and turn out incredibly delicious. The amount of ingredients will depend on how many you want to make. Keep in mind you will be halving the jalapeños.
Ingredients
- 2 packages cream cheese , 8 ounce
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 10 jalapenos peppers , halved and seeded
- 1 package turkey bacon , 12 ounce
Instructions
-
1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
-
2
Mix together cream cheese and Cheddar cheese in a large bowl until well combined. Spread cream cheese mixture into the center of each jalapeño half.
-
3
Cut bacon slices in half crosswise. Wrap 1 bacon strip around the center of each jalapeño half. Place wrapped jalapeños on a nonstick baking sheet.
-
4
Bake in the preheated oven until bacon is cooked and jalapeños are slightly tender, 10 to 15 minutes.

Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese Sandwich
This jalapeño popper grilled cheese is an awesome spin on a plain grilled cheese sandwich. Feel free to alter it to your liking. The ciabatta bread is not typical grilled cheese material but the crunch of the buttery grilled chewy bread goes perfectly with this jalapeño filling. You can also use sourdough bread.
Spicy Cornbread Mini-Muffins
These are perfect for making 3 dozen mini muffins to take to a potluck. Basting the muffin tin with melted butter and dusting with cornmeal are an essential step to getting a marvelous crispy exterior to the muffins. To add more kick, do not seed the jalapenos and add an extra one.
