My husband's co-worker made us these whiskey paralyzer cocktails one night. This recipe is a variation of a paralyzer. They go down much smoother, too, so you might not feel your legs after a few of these!
Ingredients
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 0.5 cups root beer
- 1 fluid ounce Canadian whiskey , such as Crown Royal
- 1 fluid ounce Kahlua or other coffee flavored liqueur
- 2 fluids ounces milk
Instructions
-
1
Fill a highball glass with ice. Add root beer, Canadian whiskey, and coffee liqueur. Slowly pour in milk so it does not curdle; stir gently. Enjoy immediately.

Six Feet Under Dip
I made this a couple of weeks ago for a Halloween party and it was a pretty big hit! It's also pretty versatile as far as ingredients, as long as you put the green onions on top to mimic grass on a grave. You can use low-fat or reduced-sodium ingredients and it is still 'to die for!'
Tortilla Española (Spanish Tortilla)
Tortilla Española is a potato and onion omelette. It's a classic tapas dish, prepared all over Spain. This version also includes roasted red peppers and Spanish Serrano ham. Unlike most omelettes, a Spanish tortilla is served at room temperature.
Sizzling Southwest Burgers
These zesty burgers are bursting with flavor. Taco seasoning, peppers, and pepperjack cheese give ground beef a boost. Then the patties are served up on buns with sour cream and salsa. A fun twist on barbecued burgers!
