Gourmet Chicken Sandwich
Sauteed chicken breasts topped with a mayonnaise/mustard/rosemary spread and graced by 2 slices of garlic rosemary focaccia bread. These sandwiches are great when you want a quick supper, but not something from the freezer. They remind me of an expensive sandwich from an upscale deli. The spread and the chicken can be made in advance, and the chicken can be eaten hot or cold.
Real N'awlins Muffuletta
A genuine muffuletta should be made on oven-fresh round Italian bread loves topped with sesame seeds. The spicy, tangy olive salad is what really sets this meat and cheese sandwich apart. These gigantic sandwiches were invented a century ago at Sicilian Deli here in New Orleans. Be sure to use high-quality ingredients as it really makes a difference!
Chicken and Sausage with Bowties
Necessity is the mother of invention. This recipe was created by me because I had a 1 1/2 hour commute to/from work. I have two teenage boys who require a hearty meal to sustain them for at least 1 hour (maybe less). This recipe can be varied; use pork italian sausage if you like (cook longer), veal or pork cutlets or cubes (be careful to cook pork products thoroughly). Serve as a sandwich, skip the pasta, mix with leftover cooked rice; add small green peas or broccoli. I doubt if anything you try will go wrong. Mangia!
Smoked Whole Turkey Breast
Great as a main dish, with some yummy sides, or thinly sliced as a sandwich filling, this smoked whole turkey breast is sure to please. Use an electric or thermostatically controlled smoker to keep the roasting temperature a constant 225 degrees F. Refrigerate any leftovers.
Pork Tenderloin with Peaches
When pork comes together with peaches, onions, and a little orange juice, it's a party of flavors. Sub soy sauce for the fish sauce, if you like. We like this with rice and a green vegetable.
Chef John's Copycat McRib Sandwich
I tip my cap to a certain fast food franchise for coming up with the idea for a boneless baby back rib sandwich, the only downside being that they use about 60 mystery ingredients โ ribs not necessarily being one of them. That's why you should try this easy homemade version with real ribs; simply bake, chill, cut, sauce, finish on the grill, and voilร ! One of the best sandwiches I've ever had.
Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Chicken Breasts in the Air Fryer
Easy bacon-wrapped chicken in the air fryer. Amp up the flavor of your boneless, skinless chicken breast with this recipe! The breasts are butterflied, which you can either do yourself or ask your butcher to do it for you. You can then stuff them with cheese and asparagus, wrap them up in a bacon blanket, and air-fry. While they cook, toss a green salad, add a veggie or potato, and some bread, and you'll be enjoying your dinner in no time.
Zucchini Pizza Boats
These zucchini pizza boats, with pizza toppings added to halved and scooped out zucchini, are a delightful main dish. Use the toppings suggested, or use the ones your family loves. Someone doesn't like olives? Sub another topping, or some extra cheese! Don't like spicy flavors? Leave them out. It's really easy to personalize this recipe to your family's tastes.
Traditional Indiana Breaded Tenderloin Sandwich
An Indiana pork tenderloin sandwich consists of a breaded and fried pork tenderloin cutlet that's served on a bulky kaiser roll with lettuce, tomatoes, and basic condiments. It's not well known outside of the state, but if you ever come to Indiana, make it a point to try this specialty sandwich.
Grilled Halloumi Wraps
Salty halloumi cheese slices grill up beautifully, along with peppers and onions, to make this tasty vegetarian wrap bursting with flavors of the Mediterranean. I like to use low-carb tortillas, but you could also stuff everything inside a pita half instead. Using flavored hummus also adds a nice twist.
Finest Arabic Chicken Shawarma Sandwich
Shawarma is a Levantine Arab meat preparation, where meat is placed on a spit and may be grilled for as long as a day. Shawarma can be served with various toppings and vegetables such as tahini, hummus, amba, or pickled cucumbers. It is mostly wrapped in pita bread. As most of us don't have a rotating spit at homes, this recipe is cooked on the stovetop. After all, in this fast life who is gonna wait for a whole day?
Club Sandwich Wrap Hack
Step up your game when making a sandwich wrap. Try something fun and new that's trending all over the internet. You'll have a total of four fillings, each in its own quarter, and use a new tortilla folding technique. This technique works great for breakfast, dessert, sandwiches, pizza, tacos, etc. Flavor combinations are endless!
