Classic Caesar Salad with Homemade Croutons
This homemade Caesar salad is loaded with flavor! Cold, crunchy romaine lettuce and golden brown, toasted croutons are tossed in a briny, rich dressing, delivering a restaurant-quality meal in the comfort of your home. Serve as a side salad alongside lasagna or grilled steak and potatoes, or add a protein such as grilled salmon, chicken, or shrimp and make it a main dish.
The Best Spinach Salad Ever
Fresh spinach with a creamy dressing that all my friends rave over. The creamy spinach salad dressing also makes a great vegetable dip.
Harvest Salad
This harvest salad combines spinach with blue cheese, walnuts, and dried cranberries. If you can't find walnut oil, olive oil may be substituted.
My Favorite Beet Salad
This beet salad recipe with fresh roasted beets, baby spinach, tomatoes, avocados, onions, and feta cheese is drizzled with a balsamic dressing. It's even better the next day, so I always make plenty!
Arugula Beet Salad
This arugula beet salad with walnuts is sweet, crunchy, and great for spring and summer. I highly suggest wearing an apron when cutting the beets.
Kale Sweet Potato Salad
This kale sweet potato salad has something for everyone—sweet, salty, crunchy, tangy—and your mom will be so happy you are eating kale! Roast the sweet potato and onion a day ahead, if you like, to save time.
Ramp Sausage Gravy
This recipe was contributed to Allrecipes by TV host, author, and recipe developer Chadwick Boyd: Every spring, I go ramp hunting deep in the North Carolina mountains with my buddy Allan. The wild onions love to grow in large patches especially in ravines and around the base of shaded trees. They are more mellow in flavor than scallions, making them wonderful substitutes in scrambled eggs, salads, and pasta. Since their season is so short, between April and early May, I like to make a special version of my sausage gravy to serve with my tall, buttery, Greek yogurt biscuits. Serve spooned over freshly baked biscuits.
Biscuits with Herb Breakfast Sausage Gravy
I have my favorite Southern biscuits and gravy, but scaled it down and changed the seasonings for a decidedly Italian twist.
Sausage Gravy
Grandma's own sausage gravy recipe! Works with bacon, too. Serve hot over freshly baked biscuits.
Sweet Nut and Seed Granola
My regular Sunday morning activity: making this granola so I can fuel my week. Hyper-delicious + mega-nutrititious + not many dishes.
Dark Honey Pecan Granola
This makes many and more servings. Honey, pecans, and coconut flakes combine with rolled oats and bake at a higher temperature for a darker-colored, deeper-flavored granola sure to please. Store in an airtight container.
Coconut Granola
This crunchy coconut granola is an easy recipe for a make-ahead, on-the-go breakfast, or midday snack.
