Chef John's Hot Dog Buns
Don't get me wrong; if you hand me a hot dog at the ball game, it's not like I'm going to throw it back in your face, but given the choice this butter-crisped, split-topped bun is the way to go. Thanks to its genius design the meat and fixings go in the top, which leaves three relatively flat sides to toast in butter.
Sweet or Savory Dampfnudel
Fell in love with these during my time in Germany and I've craved it on a regular basis since.

Butterhorn Dinner Rolls
Butterhorn dinner rolls date all the way back to colonial times, but I've streamlined the process to make this recipe easier for new and inexperienced bakers. These classic dinner rolls are light but rich, and slightly sweet. They're perfect for special occasions or holiday dinners, alongside any main course.
Pretzel Buns
Buns that taste and look like soft pretzels! These easy to make buns are great for sandwiches or as a dinner roll, especially with steak! Try them as burger buns topped with Swiss cheese and honey mustard!
Soft-N-Fluffy Hamburger Buns
Soft and light hamburger buns with a moist crumb. This recipe is a keeper; simple and perfect every time. You can vary the size to accommodate larger burgers or make little sliders — make hot dog buns, too! I worked on this recipe until I got it perfect. I hope you enjoy it!
Chef John's Hot Cross Buns
Real hot cross buns have the cross baked into them, not piped on afterward. These are studded with rum-soaked currants. I based my recipe on one I found on Anson Mills' website.
Soft and Chewy Balkan Bread
Pogacha is a type of bread baked in the ashes of a fireplace, and later on in the oven. This bread is found in the cuisines of the Balkans and Turkey. I found it after searching high and low for a great bread to bake for my homemade panini. I tried maybe a dozen bread recipes over the years just to get it right. I needed a bread that was light and airy that you could press using a panini press and wouldn't get too hard to chew or too thick to eat.
Pandesal
Pandesal is a Filipino bread, the most popular bread in the Philippines. It's often consumed for breakfast with coffee or hot chocolate. People prefer warm pandesal because it is often soft and more enjoyable to eat.

Quick and Easy Pretzel Bites with Nutella® Dipping Sauce
Very quick and easy pretzel bites with two dipping sauces. This came together kind of by accident when the kids wanted a snack after school. We have made homemade pretzels before and I have to admit that was a little time consuming. The trick with this shortcut is the baking soda water bath. I love Nutella®. Enjoy!
