If you want something other than the ordinary mushy coated sweet and sour chicken, then I suppose this is one you should try. I learned how to make this from watching my mother make it.

This chicken dish is straight from the Szechuan province of China and it is hot! It is known in China as Chong Qing Lazi Ji. Unfortunately, substituting black peppercorns for Szechuan will not taste right.

Joe's General Tso's chicken recipe is a perfect combination of sweet and spicy flavors. You can often find it at Chinese buffets and takeout places. You can try substituting gin for the rice wine if you'd like.

Stir-fried chicken with pineapples and peppers is loaded with low-fat protein (in the chicken breast) and lots of vitamins (in the scallions, peppers, and pineapple). Plus, the dab of fresh ginger soothes stomachs and fights inflammation and blood clots. Serve with brown rice.

This Hunan kung pao recipe with chicken, shrimp, bell peppers, dried chile peppers, and Sichuan peppercorns tastes similar to what you get from a famous food chain! Serve over thick noodles.
