This method for cooking Italian sausage in the air fryer is as much a how-to as it is a recipe. You can cook up to 4 sausages at once, and time and temperature will be the same. I like to top mine with giardiniera.
Ingredients
- 2 hots dog buns
- 2 italians sausage links
Instructions
-
1
Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
-
2
Place buns in the fryer basket and cook for 2 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
-
3
Place sausage links in the fryer basket and cook for 6 minutes. Using tongs, flip links over and cook until browned, about 4 minutes more. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). Transfer to buns.

Czech Cabbage Dish
I can only attempt to spell the real name of this dish; Cabushka or something like that! My mother's father was from Czechoslovakia, and he has three sisters who are excellent cooks. I have learned to cook this dish quite happily. At our last reunion, there were three separate bowls with different versions of this same dish; they were all scraped clean!
Holy Cow Cake
This holy cow cake is chocolaty, gooey, rich, and delicious!
Grandma's Carrot Cake
This recipe for grandma's carrot cake has been a favorite in our family for three generations. Different from traditional carrot cake, this cake is extremely moist and flavorful and is topped with a buttermilk glaze while still warm. Try it and I think you will agree that it is the best!! Be certain to reduce the baking temperature to 325 degrees F(165 degrees C) if using a glass baking dish.
