Spicy with a hint of sweet air-fried pumpkin seeds. Roasting them in the air fryer gets them super crispy and they are highly addictive. These are best served immediately so make small batches. Store any leftovers in an airtight container.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups pumpkin seeds
  • 1.5 tablespoons salted butter , melted
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1.5 teaspoons chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 0.25 teaspoons salt

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat an air fryer to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).

  2. 2

Place pumpkin seeds in a bowl. Pour melted butter over the seeds and stir. Add syrup, chili, powder, cumin, and salt. Stir until evenly combined. Place seeds in an even layer in the basket of the air fryer. Work in batches if necessary.

  3. 3

Cook for 30 minutes, shaking the basket every 10 minutes. Transfer the seeds to a paper towel-lined plate and let sit for 5 minutes.
