These almond flour pancakes are by far the best paleo pancakes I have tried. This recipe is super easy and quick, too. Top pancakes with organic honey.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 cup tapioca flour
- 0.5 cups almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 0.5 teaspoons baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
-
1
Beat eggs in a bowl until smooth; whisk in almond flour, tapioca flour, almond milk, vanilla extract, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until batter is just combined.
-
2
Heat a lightly oiled griddle over medium-high heat or an electric frying pan according to the manufacturer's instructions. Drop batter by large spoonfuls onto the griddle; cook until bubbles form and the edges are dry, 3 to 4 minutes. Flip and cook until browned on the other side, 2 to 3 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter.

Chef John's Tandoori Chicken
Tandoori chicken gets its name from the clay oven it is traditionally cooked in, the tandoor. The chicken is marinated in yogurt and an incredibly complex mix of spices, and then roasted in the extremely hot tandoor oven. Don't worry if you don't have a tandoor clay oven sitting in the backyard; a grill will work just fine.
Jerk Seasoning
This Jamaican jerk seasoning recipe makes a great spice blend or rub for chicken and meat. If you've ever eaten jerk chicken or pork, you'll love this combination of spices that includes allspice, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, and thyme.
