Skyline Lentil Chili
Serve Skyline lentil chili over spaghetti topped with chopped onion, finely shredded Cheddar cheese, kidney beans, and Tabasco sauce. I used to love Skyline Cincinnati-style chili. When I went vegetarian, I created this Skyline lentil chili recipe to give me that Skyline taste. I use green or black lentils as the protein, whereas standard Cincinnati-style chili uses ground meat. Even though I've gone back to eating meat, this is still my preferred way to get my Skyline fix.
Panettone Bread Pudding with Spiced Orange Sauce
This panettone bread pudding is delicious and easy to make with the light and heavenly Italian Christmas bread. Panettone is similar to brioche but studded with raisins and candied orange and lemon peel. A luscious sauce made with orange liqueur, makes this dish perfect for the holidays. Serve as a dessert or a sweet and decadent breakfast.
Cajun Spiced Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
Double or triple this recipe for Cajun spiced roasted pumpkin seeds. Depending on how many cups of seeds you have โ one large pumpkin will generally yield 1 cup of seeds, and smaller pie pumpkins will yield about the same amount. Toss a salad with these seeds, sprinkle over a chicken dish, or serve as a snack.
