Wisconsin Blue Ribbon Chili
This chili recipe earned its blue ribbon at a chili cook-off three years in a row! It is a mild, sweet chili, but it could always be spiced up with a little hot sauce. In Wisconsin, chili has macaroni noodles in it, which my husband thinks is the best part of this recipe. Add canned kidney beans with the macaroni, if desired.
Pizza Cupcakes
These pizza cupcakes are a great portable savory snack and a tasty addition to a game-day buffet. They're sort of like a mini pizza, except shaped like a cupcake. Feel free to customize to your family's tastes with additions like ham, sausage, bell peppers, salami, mushrooms, olives, jalapeños, etc. I recommend not omitting the tomato — it really adds something special.
English Muffin-Sausage Breakfast Casserole
Made with English muffins, ground country sausage, and bell peppers, this is a great casserole for breakfast. Filling enough for any hungry man. Light enough for a weekend brunch.
