Given to me by a friend many years ago. One quart of sweetened fresh blueberries can be used in place of canned blueberries.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1.5 cups quick cooking oats
- 0.5 teaspoons salt
- 1 can sweetened blueberries , 15 ounce
Instructions
-
1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
-
2
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar. Stir in flour, salt and oats. Mix until well combined.
-
3
Pat 2/3 of the mixture into an ungreased 9-inch pie pan to form the bottom crust. Spread blueberries evenly into crust. Pat the remaining oat mixture onto top of blueberries.
-
4
Bake in preheated oven until topping is golden brown and filling is bubbly, 40 to 50 minutes.

Air-Fryer Roasted Veggies
Air fryer vegetables are easy since air fryers are taking over kitchens nationwide. They're mini convection ovens that fry foods with little to no oil, less fat, and fewer calories. A heating element and fan bathe the food in hot air to produce a crispy finished product. You'll use 3 cups of assorted vegetables in this recipe, cut into 1-inch pieces. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
