Hot Ube Pandesal (Filipino Purple Yam Bread Rolls)
I'm sharing my version of the hot ube pandesal we ate for breakfast as kids and even for merienda (snack time), with hot chocolate or warm milk. I love food with ube flavor, so I incorporated it into my favorite breakfast bread. I know there are many pandesal recipes online, but I hope you try this and let me know what you think. Thank you! Serve hot with or without the spread of your choice. Warm leftovers in a toaster oven before serving for better taste.
Easy Dog Cupcakes
Healthy alternative for purchased pet treats. Easy and they love them. To serve, break into pieces for treats depending on size of your fur babies. These treats freeze well. Optional: When cool, dab 1/4 teaspoon peanut butter on top of each cupcake, just enough to hold a small biscuit treat, as shown in photo. Freeze without additional peanut butter and biscuit.
Sweet and Sour Pepper Pork
Cubed pork loin is sauteed with bell peppers, onions, and garlic in a thick sweet and sour sauce. Serve over rice for a quick and delicious meal.
