Chef John's Bread and Butter Pickles
My bread and butter pickles are made with sliced pickling cucumbers in a sweet and tangy brine. They're soft and tender, but at the same time they have the most amazing crunch! This recipe is for refrigerator pickles โ for longer storage, you can process the pickles in canning jars in a boiling water canner.
