These caramel apple slices combine the crisp, natural flavor of apple with caramel and pecans for the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The pomegranate seeds add an extra burst of flavor.
Ingredients
- 2 pinks lady apples
- 1 lemon , juiced
- 1 cup caramel sauce , or more as needed
- 0.5 cups chopped pecans
- 0.5 cups pomegranate seeds

Line a tray with parchment. Cut both apples into thick round slices, about 8 total slices. Place apples in a shallow dish and squeeze lemon juice over both sides.
-

To Die For Garlic Feta Pate
Friends beg me to make this when they come over. Cream cheese, garlic, anchovies, feta cheese and fresh chives are quickly blended and ready to serve in this easy gourmet snack. Even serious dieters can't resist this heavenly spread! Serve with crackers, toasted pita wedges, or sliced baguette.
Rhubarb Crumble
A deliciously sweet rhubarb crumble. The crumble on the top is extremely delicious! You can make extra streusel topping to press around the bottom and sides to form a crust if you like.
Korean Fried Chicken Sauce
This is my take on the classic Korean fried chicken sauce. I like to add lots of green onion and garlic, and not cook this quite as long. The result is a sauce with those ingredients a little more in the flavor profile's forefront. Try to find Korean chili flakes and/or paste if you can. I've used them before and the flavor is great (and obviously more authentic), but if you can't, any hot chili flakes or paste will work.
