After snow blowing on a typical Michigan winter evening, Charlie yearned for the island taste. He created this sweet island Brussels sprouts recipe, which was requested three nights in a row.
Ingredients
- 0.25 cups butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 pounds Brussels sprouts , trimmed and halved lengthwise
- 1 tablespoon jerk seasoning
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder

Melt butter with olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in Brussels sprouts, jerk seasoning, curry powder, brown sugar, and garlic powder until combined; cook and stir, until sprouts are tender, 5 to 10 minutes.
