These chocolate-covered strawberries are made with the simplest recipe I know. White chocolate may be drizzled over the milk chocolate for a fancier look. They are perfect for parties, Valentine's Day, and weddings.
Ingredients
- 16 ounces milk chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- toothpicks
- 1 pound fresh strawberries with leaves
Instructions
-
1
Gather all ingredients.
-
2
Melt chocolate and shortening in a double boiler, stirring occasionally until smooth.
-
3
Insert toothpicks into tops (stem ends) of strawberries. Hold a strawberry by the toothpick and dip it into the chocolate mixture.
-
4
Turn the strawberry upside down and insert the toothpick into a Styrofoam block or place strawberry on a sheet of waxed paper; allow chocolate coating to cool. Repeat with remaining strawberries.

Enjoy!

Air Fryer Ham and Cheese Wraps
These air fryer ham and cheese wraps couldn't get any easier, and all with only 5 ingredients. Think ham and melty cheese nestled in a warm and toasty tortilla. It's just the two of us and my air fryer basket is small, so I wrote this up for 2 servings, but the recipe can easily be doubled if you have a large air fryer or want to work in batches.
