I used to make a batch of these every two days for my cafe. They were extremely popular and always sold out. A delicious and light chocolate square that packs well in lunches. I like to make for Halloween treats by simply scattering Reese's pieces over the top and pushing into top of square while still warm in pan. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 12 cups puffed wheat cereal
- 10 marshmallows
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 0.5 cups corn syrup
- 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 0.33 cups butter

Grease a large bowl and a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Combine marshmallows, brown sugar, corn syrup, cocoa powder, and butter in a small saucepan; cook and stir over medium-low heat until smooth and bubbling. Remove saucepan from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

Pour chocolate mixture over cereal and stir until evenly coated. Press cereal mixture into the prepared baking dish and cool for 10 minutes. Sausage Rolls
This sausage roll recipe makes 16 golden, savory, flaky rolls. People often bake the sausage roll whole, then cut it up. But I've found that if you cut them into individual rounds first, the crispier results more than make up for the extra work.
Blooming Onion
This blooming onion is double-coated, then deep-fried until golden brown and delicious. The dipping sauce recipe is also included.
Lemon Pie Bars
This is a really easy recipe that my mom made before the lemon bar 'rage' was on! Thick-skinned lemons work the best. I suggest using real butter and eggs, I've tried using eggbeaters--nowhere near as good!
