- 1 package chocolate cake mix , 15.25 ounce
- 1 can pumpkin , 15 ounce
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 container cream cheese frosting , 16 ounce

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Mix cake mix, pumpkin, eggs, and oil together in a large bowl using an electric mixer on medium speed for 3 minutes. Pour batter into the prepared dish and spread evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center of cake comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool completely, 30 to 45 minutes.

Frost cooled cake with cream cheese frosting.
