This gin cocktail will bring you back to life, no doubt. It dates back to the 19th century.
Ingredients
- Ice
- 1 fluid ounce gin
- 1 fluid ounce Lillet blanc
- 1 fluid ounce Cointreau
- 1 fluid ounce fresh lemon juice
- 0.13 teaspoons absinthe
- Maraschino cherry , for garnish

Place ice in a cocktail shaker. Pour in gin, Lillet, Cointreau, and lemon juice. Spoon absinthe in a cocktail glass, and swirl to coat sides of glass. Shake cocktail, and then strain into the glass. Garnish with a Maraschino cherry.
