In this decadent crab puff recipe, wonton wrappers are filled with crabmeat and cream cheese and deep-fried. Dip them in your favorite Asian-style sauce and loosen your belt buckle!
Ingredients
- 1 quart oil for deep frying
- 1 pound cooked crabmeat
- 1 package cream cheese , 8 ounce
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt
- 2 packages small won ton wrappers , 16 ounce

Heat oil in a large, heavy saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, mix together crabmeat, cream cheese, and garlic salt.

Roll a small amount of the crabmeat mixture inside each wonton wrapper and seal.

In small batches, carefully place wontons into hot oil. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes, until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
