Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2.5 cups fresh cranberries

Dissolve sugar in water in a saucepan over medium heat. Add cranberries and simmer on low until cranberries have softened but before they begin to pop, about 15 minutes. Cool, strain, and refrigerate.
