A moist and chewy cranberry walnut bread recipe for the bread machine with great taste. Watch the consistency; I usually need to add more flour so that it doesn't "climb the walls."
Ingredients
- 0.25 cups rolled oats
- 0.25 cups water
- 1 cup buttermilk , at room temperature
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1.5 tablespoons margarine , softened
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoons baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 0.75 cups dried cranberries
- 0.5 cups chopped walnuts
Instructions
-
1
Place all of the ingredients (except the cranberries and the walnuts) in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Light Crust and Sweet Cycle and press Start.
-
2
If your machine has a Fruit setting, add the cranberries and walnuts at the signal, or around 5 minutes before the kneading cycle has finished.

These chicken adobo tacos deliciously fuse Mexican and Filipino cuisine. Wrap up some chicken adobo in a flour tortilla and top with mango salsa—so good! Make the mango salsa as directed, or save time by using store-bought salsa.
