Red Velvet Cake with Buttercream Frosting
Very moist red velvet cake -- with excellent buttercream frosting. A family tradition, as well as a favorite. Great for holidays!
Pumpkin Shortbread Cookies
This is a spicy pumpkin shortbread cookie recipe. The added pumpkin makes them slightly softer than your average shortbread, but they've got a pleasant texture nonetheless. Make these ahead of time--they taste better the next day. Store in an airtight container.
Chicken Alfredo Heart-Shaped Pizza
This pizza is a breakaway from the traditional red sauce pizza. Homemade Alfredo sauce, grilled chicken, spinach, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese pair beautifully on this pizza. While homemade dough is always a plus, feel free to use store-bought pizza dough (I prefer Winco® pizza dough). Perfect for 2 to share.
