Chef John's Popovers
I got this popover recipe from a viewer Elizzaruth, who breaks from tradition and places the popovers in a cold oven and then bakes them at a high temperature for 30 minutes exactly. The popovers came out tall and fluffy, crispy on the outside, tender and delicious inside!
Air Fryer Salmon Nuggets
Crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside, these salmon nuggets are finished off with a sweet chipotle-maple drizzle. These make a great appetizer and are also tasty served over greens. Try and find center-cut salmon filets that are at least 1-inch thick. I usually buy extra salmon, and trim off the thinner outer edges, saving for another use. I like to use a Misto® sprayer with my own oil, but feel free to use regular cooking spray.
Creamy Morel Mushroom Soup
If you are a fan of fresh (or even dried) morel mushrooms, this is the soup for you. Everyone who eats morels knows that they go best sautéed with onions, garlic, and butter. This incorporates all of those ingredients to create a magnificently creamy soup, strong with morel flavor, but not too overpowering. Serve with crusty bread or garlic croutons.
