This ham casserole is as good as comfort food gets. My family would have this every night of the week if I let them!

Add macaroni, Cheddar cheese, condensed soup, peas, milk, sour cream, onion powder, and garlic powder to ham mixture in the skillet; mix until well combined.
-
6
Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven until cheese is melted, about 25 minutes.
-
8
Sprinkle French-fried onions over casserole and continue baking until golden, about 5 minutes more.

Delicious Chocolate Cornflake Cakes
For all the gorgeous chocolate cakes around (and there are many), I still have a soft spot for these crunchy, chewy little cakes. I include them partly because when looking for a recipe for them recently, I found it surprisingly difficult to find one. Oh come on, don't tell me you don't like them - so get COOKING!!!
King Cake with Cream Cheese Filling
This recipe for king cake with cream cheese filling is, hands down, the best I've ever eaten. It's a combination of several recipes, not too sweet and not too bready, with a rich, tender crumb and the traditional lemon and nutmeg flavors of a genuine NOLA king cake. It's great with coffee and best eaten the same day but pretty darn good the day after (if there are leftovers!). Enjoy, y'all!
