These donut ice cream sandwiches begin with a not-so-ordinary maple bacon bar, but butter pecan ice cream inside really takes them over the top. A maple bar will do for the sandwich, but it might be worth the trouble to track down a maple bacon bar. For a treat this good, who would think you'd only need 5 minutes to make them?
Ingredients
- 1 donut maple bacon bar
- 0.5 cups butter pecan ice cream , slightly softened
Instructions
-
1
Cut maple bacon bar in half, then cut each piece in half horizontally.
-
2
Spread the bottom of each bar donut half with butter pecan ice cream. Place the cut donut tops onto the ice cream. Serve immediately.

The Best Meatballs
Learn how to make meatballs with this recipe that is the best meatball recipe I have ever tried! I've used the combination of pork, beef, and veal but you can make them with just ground beef and they still taste great. Definitely use fresh bread crumbs and freshly grate your cheese instead of using the canned variety... It really does make a difference!
